Standard Yale-style night latch from £85. British Standard BS3621 night latch from £115 (recommended where the night latch is the only lock on the door). Auto-deadlocking versions from £125 — these prevent the latch being slipped with a card. No VAT and no call-out fee — the price you see is the price you pay. Parts and labour are included unless otherwise stated.
Frequently asked questions
Is a Yale lock enough on its own?
Only if it's a British Standard (BS3621) auto-deadlocking version. Standard night latches should be paired with a mortice deadlock.
What's auto-deadlocking?
When the door slams shut, the latch automatically deadlocks itself — making it impossible to slip with a card or screwdriver.
Can I keep the same key as before?
Not unless your new rim cylinder is keyed-alike to the old. We can usually arrange this on request.
